Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up to play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's ‘Ramayana’.
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently prepping for his role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's ‘Ramayana’, which also reportedly stars Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol. There have been several reports stating that Ranbir Kapoor is following a rigorous training routine to be in the best shape possible for the upcoming film. Ranbir Kapoor's trainer, Ram, has now shared a video on his Instagram handle, sharing how effortlessly Ranbir Kapoor excelled in the week-long training.
In the training video, Ranbir Kapoor's daughter Raha was also spotted, making it all the more special.
In the video, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen going through all sorts of rigorous training exercises including a hike. Ranbir was also seen doing cartwheels, lifting weights, jogging, doing core exercises and swimming.
“Went to the countryside for a decompression week. WIP with Ranbir,” the trainer wrote as the caption.

Eagle-eyed fans also managed to spot Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter Raha in the video. Raha was seen with her nanny. Fans were also able to spot Alia Bhatt during Ranbir’s hike.
“Hiking as a part of his training program for the prep of Ramayana. This guy knows exactly what he’s doing and how to make it happen right. Looking forward to his emotional transformation,” commented one user.
Another user wrote, “Beast mode.”
Last week, several pictures from the sets of 'Ramayana' were leaked online. Arun Govil, who is also a part of the upcoming film, had heaped praise on Ranbir Kapoor.
In an interview with Bollywood Spy, he said, “Only time can tell if that will happen or not, can’t say anything in advance about it. But, as far as Ranbir is concerned, he is a good actor. He is an award-winning actor.”
“Whatever I know of him, Ranbir works very hard, and he is a very cultured kid. He has got good moral and cultural values. I’ve noticed it several times. I’m very sure that he will try to do his level best," he added.
As per several reports, 'Ramayana' is slated to be released on Diwali 2025. Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly charging Rs 75 crore for each film in the planned 'Ramayana' trilogy.
