"Did Some Filler Work...": Rajkummar Rao Breaks Silence On Plastic Surgery Rumours
Actor Rajkummar Rao, who will soon be seen in the Hindi film 'Srikanth', finally broke his silence on the rumours regarding him undergoing plastic surgery.

Actor Rajkummar Rao, who will soon be seen in the Hindi film 'Srikanth', has finally broken his silence on the rumours regarding him undergoing a plastic surgery. For the unversed, a photo of the actor from the Diljit Dosanjh concert had recently gone viral, and several people opined that he has undergone plastic surgery. In the pictures, Rajkummar Rao's chin appeared longer, and as soon as the image surfaced on social media, memes flooded the internet. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao has denied undergoing plastic surgery, saying the viral picture was just a "touch-up" image.
"I have not done any plastic surgery guys. That's a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup, but it looks weird, it looks weird to me also. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery," Rajkummar Rao said.
"Having said that, about eight years ago, I did some filler work on my chin because I wanted to look confident. My dermatologist suggested it and I did. Do I feel confident after that? Yes. Have I done better films after that. It has changed the perception. Acting is a visual media. I am not against it. If somebody wants to boost their confidence and the science is available, then why not.” However, he also added, “But no to plastic surgery. It is too expensive and time-consuming," he added.

Rajkummar Rao gave another interview to India Today, and it was there that he talked about whether trolls had any impact on him or not.
Answering the question about whether trolls affected him, Rajkummar Rao told India Today, "No, because it’s funny. I know it’s fake. Also, there are trolls who do that just for attention. I think that’s the saddest thing that one can do.”
Rajkummar Rao also said that while actors face constant pressure to look good, work will always be a priority for him.
“I know a lot of people who enjoy it. They like dressing up and looking good. For me, I enjoy working out. Honestly, I think one should do whatever makes them happy and gives them confidence,” he said.
Rajkummar Rao's upcoming film 'Srikanth' will be releasing in cinemas on May 10, 2024. The movie also stars Jyotika and Alaya F.
