The ‘Dhurandhar’ fever has officially crossed oceans, reaching the global stage via pop singer Nick Jonas. The singer recently revealed that a hit track from Ranveer Singh’s latest blockbuster has become his essential pre-show “hype anthem”. On Friday, Nick took to Instagram to share a high-energy video of himself grooving to the song ‘Shararat’ from the film. While Nick took centre stage, his brothers, Kevin and Joe, were seen joining the fun in the background.

Capturing his newfound love for the track, Nick captioned the post: “New pre show hype song unlocked.”

The dance number, which is currently a chartbuster, features vocals by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas, with music composed by Shashwat Sachdev. On-screen, the song features Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza.

The interaction didn't stop at the video. Ranveer Singh jumped into the comments section within hours, posting a hilarious and enthusiastic response: “Hahahahahaa JIJUUUU JAAANE DEEEEE.”

Nick Jonas was quick to reply, hinting that his Bollywood playlist is only growing: “Bhai! Dhurandhar title track is up next! Love to you and the family! Let's go!”

This isn't Nick's first foray into Bollywood hype songs. He previously shared that he listens to ‘Aavan Jaavan’ from War 2 (starring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani) to get pumped up before his performances.

Social media erupted with excitement over the “Jiju” energy Nick consistently brings. Fans of the singer and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, flooded the comments with quips such as: “National Jiju for a reason.”

Another one wrote, “Arrey jijuuuuu.. jiju being chronically online is the best thing.”

A third one said, “Do you have your aadhar card?”

The Jonas Brothers – consisting of Kevin, Joe, and Nick – are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary with the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.

After rising to stardom in the mid-2000s and starring in Camp Rock, the trio famously split in 2013 due to creative differences before reuniting in 2019. Their current tour kicked off in New Jersey this August and is set to conclude in New York this December.

Talking about ‘Dhurandhar’, it is directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar. The movie has become a certified juggernaut since its release on December 5. It follows Hamza (Ranveer Singh), an Indian spy who infiltrates a Baloch gang in Pakistan. The story is inspired by grim real-life events, including the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

The film features a powerhouse ensemble including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, with supporting roles by Manav Gohil and Saumya Tandon.

According to Sacnilk, the film has already crossed the Rs 450 crore mark in India. Fans won't have to wait long for more; a sequel is already scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
