"Band Karo": Mouni Roy Loses Cool, Lashes Out At Paparazzi After They Continue Filming Her Inside Car. Watch
Mouni Roy was spotted stepping out of a restaurant in Bandra, where she was spotted losing her cool with the paparazzi.
Bollywood actress Mouni Roy appeared visibly upset during a recent outing with television host Anusha Dandekar after an interaction with the paparazzi left her uncomfortable. A video from the evening has since gone viral on social media, capturing Mouni asking photographers to stop filming her even after she had settled inside her car. The incident took place on Tuesday when Mouni and Anusha were seen exiting a restaurant in Mumbai's Bandra.
As the duo made their way out of the venue, photographers gathered outside to capture pictures and videos. While Mouni initially chose not to react and quietly walked towards her vehicle, the situation appeared to escalate as cameras continued rolling after she got into the car.
Mouni was seen repeatedly telling the paparazzi, “Band karo,” as they continued recording her from outside the vehicle. Her repeated requests reflected her growing frustration, with the actress clearly asking for some privacy before leaving the venue. Anusha stepped in during the tense moment and appeared to diffuse the situation.
She gestured towards the photographers, signalling them to stop filming, while also trying to reassure Mouni before the two eventually drove away.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Mouni was last seen in Varun Dhawan's 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai', directed by David Dhawan. The film, which also featured Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur, did not perform as expected at the box office. She also starred in the web series 'Ab Hoga Hisaab', sharing screen space with Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer Sheikh, Avinash Mishra, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Harman Singha and Aasheema Vardaan.
Mouni has also remained in the spotlight for developments in her personal life. In May, she and businessman Suraj Nambiar confirmed that they had decided to end their marriage after four years together. The former couple shared a joint statement on Instagram, criticising the speculation surrounding their relationship while requesting privacy during the separation. Mouni and Suraj began dating in 2018 before tying the knot in 2022.
"We note with dismay the unnecessary and intrusive attention into our personal lives by certain quarters of the media. We would like to state that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably," the couple had said in a joint statement.
