Stealing the spotlight at the festival's main event, Malaika served major ethnic glamour in a heavily embroidered golden saree. She elevated the traditional drape by pairing it with a matching, heavily embellished floor-length cape and a statement choker necklace.

In the video and a series of grand theatre lobby photos, the actress can be seen graciously interacting with a massive crowd of fans gathered behind red-rope barricades. Holding a festival folder and mic on stage in one moment, and smiling for countless fan selfies in the next, Malaika completely commanded the venue. She was also photographed posing on the red carpet alongside festival director Mitu Bhowmick Lange, marking a triumphant and stylish return to the event.

Switching effortlessly from traditional royalty to modern boss lady, Malaika was later spotted judging an outdoor 'Remitly' dance competition. Dressed in a sharp, all-black power suit featuring statement gold buttons and dark sunglasses, she took to the stage alongside fellow industry figures to hand out certificates to young dancers.

However, the most talked-about moment from the outdoor event was a beautifully emotional exchange caught on camera. In a heartwarming photo, Malaika was seen gently cupping the face of a young performer wearing a red headband, sharing a deeply warm and encouraging embrace that highlighted her gracious off-screen persona. Adding a touch of fun to her judging duties, she also shared a cheerful POV snap of a bowl filled with colourful gummy candies overlooking the dance troupe on stage.

When she wasn't on official festival duty, Malaika took to the streets to explore, setting major winter fashion goals. In one picturesque snap, she was seen casually leaning against a giant illuminated “MELBOURNE” sign near a Ferris wheel, sporting a trendy brown snakeskin-print jacket, tailored beige trousers, and a cozy beanie.

In another laid-back outing, she was photographed standing on a bridge near a venue marked “The Boatbuilders Yard,” rocking an oversized grey turtleneck sweater, wide-leg denim jeans, brown platform boots, gloves, and a classic newsboy cap. Her photo dump also included a glimpse of a relaxed lunch, with a napkin from the popular eatery ‘Chin Chin’ visible on the table, as she soaked in the city's vibrant culinary scene with a companion.

Capping off the phenomenal photo series was a massive, star-studded group picture taken during an outdoor night gathering. Malaika was seen beaming alongside a powerhouse lineup of Indian cinema's finest who attended the festival. The glittering frame featured prominent celebrities including Rishab Shetty, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, and Rasika Dugal, perfectly capturing the camaraderie and celebration of “good cinema and great people” that Malaika highlighted in her caption.
