Bollywood stars such as Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar and many others stepped out early Monday morning to vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections in Mumbai.

Bollywood stars such as Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Sanya Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Tabu, and Rajkummar Rao, among others, have all stepped out early Monday morning to vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections in Mumbai. For the unversed, polling got underway at 7 AM in 13 Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra, including six in Mumbai.
Several paparazzi accounts are posting videos of Bollywood celebrities stepping out in the city to cast their vote.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar said, "Bas me yahi kehna chahunga, mai chahta hu mera bharat majbut rahe, bas issi ko dimaag me rakhte huye, maine vote kiya aur ussi hisab se poora Bharat vote kar."
"Mujhe lagta hai log iss baar bahut vote karenge, me yaha subah 7 baje pahunch gaya tha. 500-600 log maine andar khud dekhe hai," he added.

For the unversed, this is the first time that Akshay Kumar has voted since receiving Indian citizenship.
In 2023, Akshay Kumar had shared a picture of his government documents, proving that he has finally received his Indian citizenship.
"Dil aur citizenship, dono Hindustani. Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind," Akshay had tweeted.
Coming back to the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections, taking to X, director Ashutosh Gowariker wrote, "Vote because you have a choice! Vote because you have a voice!! Vote because it is your duty! Vote because it is your right! #Election2024 #LokSabhaElection2024 #Vote #Votingday."
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had also urged the country's citizens to step out and vote in the ongoing elections.
