Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is one of the most-anticipated Indian movies, and fans cannot wait for the film to release in cinemas. The planned trilogy has already begun the shooting process. For the unversed, 'Ramayana's star cast includes Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), Sunny Deol (Lord Hanuman) and 'KGF' star Yash (Raavana). In the latest entertainment news, we have the biggest possible update for you! 'KGF' star Yash has reportedly come onboard as a producer for Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi's 'Ramayana'.

Apart from playing the role of Raavana, Yash will also be producing the planned trilogy alongside Namit Malhotra. This development was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh

"BIGGG DEVELOPMENT… YASH JOINS HANDS WITH NAMIT MALHOTRA TO PRODUCE ‘RAMAYANA’… This is a groundbreaking collaboration… #NamitMalhotra [Prime Focus] and actor #Yash [Monster Mind Creations] have joined forces to produce the epic saga #Ramayana for #Indian and global audiences," trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X. 

"#Yash becomes a producer on this massive project, besides being one of the main actors," he added. 

Last week, several pictures from the sets of 'Ramayana' were leaked online. Arun Govil, who is also a part of the upcoming film, had heaped praise on Ranbir Kapoor.

In an interview with Bollywood Spy, he said, “Only time can tell if that will happen or not, can’t say anything in advance about it. But, as far as Ranbir is concerned, he is a good actor. He is an award-winning actor.”

“Whatever I know of him, Ranbir works very hard, and he is a very cultured kid. He has got good moral and cultural values. I’ve noticed it several times. I’m very sure that he will try to do his level best," he added.

As per several reports, 'Ramayana' is slated to be released on Diwali 2025. Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly charging Rs 75 crore for each film in the planned 'Ramayana' trilogy.
