You Can Now Stay At Janhvi Kapoor’s Chennai Home. Here’s How
Janhvi Kapoor's late mother Sridevi bought the Chennai mansion after getting married to producer Boney Kapoor.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, one of the hottest and fittest actresses in India, was born on March 6, 1997, in Mumbai, India. She was born to renowned film producer Boney Kapoor and legendary actress Sridevi. Janhvi Kapoor grew up in a family deeply rooted in cinema, surrounded by creativity and artistry from a young age. She made her Bollywood debut opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter in the 2018 Hindi movie ‘Dhadak’, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The romantic drama film, which served as the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’, was a critical and commercial success.
Janhvi Kapoor then starred in a number of movies, including ‘Ghost Stories’, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Roohi’, ‘Good Luck Jerry’, ‘Mili’ and ‘Bawaal’. Now, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to give people a glimpse into the house that her late mother Sridevi had bought in Chennai, which was also Janhvi’s childhood home.
According to several reports, Airbnb has listed the mansion in the 11 icons properties list and it can now be rented by people. Yes, you read that! Now you can actually stay at Janhvi Kapoor’s childhood home.
While only select Airbnb users will get a chance to live in the mansion, the one-night stay will also include guests conversing with Janhvi Kapoor about her beauty hacks and they will also get to taste some authentic South Indian food.
For the unversed, this Chennai mansion was the first ever house that the late Sridevi bought after she got married to Boney Kapoor. The house also came adorned with several artifacts and paintings from across the world.
However, the family had to shut down the house due to leakage and maintenance issues. But after Sridevi’s demise, Boney Kapoor got the house renovated. In 2022, Janhvi Kapoor’s childhood home was featured on Vogue India too. A video of the same was posted by Vogue on YouTube.

Reportedly, the mansion includes Boney Kapoor’s Chennai office and a plush living room. There is also a wall full of old family pictures, the TV room also has paintings made by Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor during the lockdown. So, anyone who gets to stay in the mansion will get to witness all of this.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, which is slated to release on May 31. She is also set to make her Telugu debut with ‘Devara: Part 1’, which also stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
