Actor Varun Dhawan, who will soon be seen in the Hindi film 'Baby John', has expressed his anger over a dog getting kicked at a recent Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians. For the unversed, it was during this match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad that a dog invaded the game and was somehow able to escape from the sides to make its way to the ground.

One clip showed Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya trying to stop the dog. However, in the latest trending news, a fresh clip has emerged in which the organisers can be seen hitting and kicking the dog, to prevent it from entering the main playing area.

Varun Dhawan shared the video on Instagram Stories, and wrote, "Wtf a dog isn’t a football. Also, the dog isn’t biting or harming anyone. Regardless there has to be a better way.”
