Shah Rukh Khan has done several memorable films in his career but one cannot deny the cultural impact of his 1995 project 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)', directed by Aditya Chopra. The movie, co-starring Kajol, is viewed as one of the best love stories to ever come out of Bollywood. And till date, the film enjoys massive popularity worldwide. 'DDLJ' is now being adapted for the stage with 'Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical'. SRK, who played Raj in the film, decided to drop by for the rehearsals of the play, ahead of its premiere this month-end.
Shah Rukh Khan was seen dressed in a simple white T-shirt and denims. He was seen posing for a picture with the two leads of the musical - Jena Pandya and Ashley Day. The picture has been shared by the musical's account on Instagram.

Jena Pandya, who plays Simran in the musical, also opened up on meeting SRK. As quoted by Hindustan Times, she said, "Meeting Shah Rukh Khan and having him in the rehearsal room was such an honour. He was so generous with his time and support for the show."
"Being able to show him some of the iconic scenes that he and Kajol originally established was an incredible feeling and will be a long-lasting memory for me. I can’t wait to head to Manchester next week and put this story on stage," she added.
For the unversed, the role of Simran was originally played by Kajol in the film.
'Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical' will make its UK premiere at Manchester Opera House from May 29 to June 21, 2025. The musical is set in UK and India and it is directed by Aditya Chopra himself.
Speaking about SRK’s work front, he recently lent his voice to the Hindi version of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. It released in Indian theatres on December 20, 2024.
SRK will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s 'King', alongside Suhana Khan. The film will also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The movie is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
The actor had recently made his debut at the Met Gala 2025. He became the first Indian actor to make an appearance at the prestigious fashion event.
