Shah Rukh Khan's reaction to Fighter trailer
Here's what Shah Rukh Khan had to say about the 'Fighter' trailer. The revelation has been made by director Siddharth Anand.

Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan will always have a special bond. The director gave SRK his much-needed blockbuster at the box office last year in the form of 'Pathaan'. The Hindi film went on to make more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. In the latest entertainment news, Siddharth Anand is gearing up for his latest release 'Fighter', starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor.

The film will be releasing in cinemas on January 25, 2024, and the advance booking is witnessing good momentum.

Siddharth Anand has now shared SRK's reaction to the 'Fighter' trailer, saying the superstar was "impressed" with the clip.

“He loved the trailer. In fact, I met him the day it was released. He loved the look of the villain and the stunts. According to him, the CGI appeared very seamless. He was very impressed,” Siddharth Anand told News18.

Siddharth Anand also admitted that the success of 'Pathaan', starring SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has set the bar too high for him and he is indeed feeling the "pressure of the expectations" from his audience.

"I would lie if I told you that I’m not feeling the pressure of the expectations that people have of me and my films post Pathaan. I feel it every moment but I need to isolate myself and understand that each film has its own journey," he said.

“I don’t expect that this time around. With Pathaan, it just happened. I got blessed with it. Pathaan was blessed and special. But I don’t want Fighter to be compared to anything. I didn’t want Pathaan to be compared to War either. I want Fighter to chart its own world because it’s its own film," he added.

Talking about the euphoria around 'Pathaan', the director said, "There’s no way I could’ve imagined that Pathaan would be a mammoth success, even in my wildest dreams. It came at a time when Hindi films weren’t doing well and Bollywood was written off. And then came Pathaan which shattered every norm and box office record – left, right and centre.”

With just two days left for its theatrical release, ‘Fighter’ has already sold more than 1 lakh tickets for the opening day, minting Rs 3.74 crore.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 46,527 tickets have been sold for the 2D version, 62,530 tickets for the 3D version, 6,048 tickets for the IMAX 3D experience, and 1,610 tickets for the 4DX 3D experience.

The runtime of the film was revealed recently, and ‘Fighter’ is 2 hours and 46 minutes long. The film has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). ‘Fighter’ is being touted as India's first aerial action film.

For the unversed, ‘Fighter’ is the third collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. The upcoming movie is also the third collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan’.
