Shah Rukh Khan came up with a perfect comeback story in 2023 and the year truly belonged to him. After a string of box office underperformers, SRK gave three blockbusters in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan' and 'Dunki' in 2023, and he was undoubtedly the superstar of the year. Recently, a leading news channel conferred SRK with the Indian of the Year accolade, and the actor was seen in great spirits. The speech of SRK is going viral on social media, however, his down-to-earth nature is also being praised on the internet. During the awards ceremony, conducted by CNN News18, SRK graciously interacted with Uttarkashi rat-hole miners and the ISRO scientists.
For the unversed, the ISRO scientists were responsible for making India the first country to successfully land a spacecraft on the Moon's south polar region as part of the Chandrayaan 3 Mission.
In the latest entertainment news, a video is now going viral on social media, in which SRK can be seen trying to click a group photograph with all the awards winners at the event. It was then that an ISRO scientist decided to give up his place on the stage to SRK, however, the actor brought back the scientist into the frame.

This humble act of Shah Rukh Khan went unnoticed yesterday. An ISRO Scientist was offering his place to him during the group photograph and going to stand somewhere else as he was too nervous in front of him, but SRK pulled him back to stand alongside him. "Zindagi mein ek baar Shah Rukh Khan se milna hai, nahi toh kya fayada ye 80’s mein born hone ka. But it is impossible," commented one user.
During his acceptance speech, the actor opened up on the arrest of his son Aryan Khan back in 2021. SRK addressed the difficult times that his family has seen in the last few years, and he also shared the valuable lesson he learnt during this time.
“The last 4-5 years have been a bit of a ride for me and my family. I’m sure for some of you also because of Covid. Most of my films flopped. Analysts started writing my death knells,” he said before comparing the trade analysts to “idiots”.
On the work front, SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki', which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover and Vikram Kochhar.
