At the premiere of ‘Homebound’ in Mumbai, a viral clip led to speculation that Farah Khan and Karan Johar deliberately ignored actor Aayush Sharma. However, Farah Khan has stepped in to dismiss the rumours and clarify what really happened On Monday, Karan Johar and Farah Khan attended the premiere of ‘Homebound’, which saw several celebrities walk the red carpet.

A video clip from the event soon went viral, showing Aayush Sharma posing for the paparazzi when Karan and Farah walked past him without acknowledging his presence. Many viewers interpreted this as a deliberate snub, fuelling online chatter about industry politics and celebrity dynamics.

The Instagram page that shared the video, captioned the post, “Did Farah Khan and Karan Johar ignore Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma?”

Farah Khan, known for her candour, came across the speculation online and quickly addressed it. Commenting directly on the Instagram post featuring the viral clip, she wrote, “Pls stop writing nonsense.. i can never ignore anyone.. least of all Ayush.”

She further explained that the angle and editing of the video created a misleading impression, adding “Just shot a vlog with him n Arpita.. just didn’t see him in all the rush.. making it slow motion just to make it look bad?”

To back her statement, Farah reminded fans that she had recently collaborated with Aayush and his wife, Arpita Khan Sharma, on her popular vlog series. In April, she featured the couple and their children, Ahil and Ayat, in a warm family episode.

Aayush Sharma, who married Salman Khan’s sister Arpita in 2014, made his Bollywood debut with ‘Loveyatri’ in 2018. He went on to appear in ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ alongside Salman Khan and later starred in ‘Ruslaan’. The actor recently revealed that he had undergone two back surgeries to treat injuries sustained during the shoot of ‘Ruslaan’, and is currently on the road to recovery.

Meanwhile, Farah Khan continues to earn love and appreciation for her YouTube cooking vlogs, in which she visits celebrity homes with her cook, Dilip. Launched in 2024, the series has gained wide popularity, even earning Farah and her team a spot at the prestigious YouTube FanFest in Mumbai on September 11.

By stepping forward to dismiss rumours of a snub, Farah once again demonstrated her no-nonsense approach, shutting down speculation and reaffirming her cordial bond with Aayush and Arpita.
