Bollywood celebrities enjoy fan following like no one else in India. Whenever they step out in the city, they are always surrounded by paparazzi, and even fans crowd them for selfies or autographs. We have often seen certain actors or actresses having weird and awkward encounters with their fans, and in the latest Bollywood celebrity news, a similar encounter has surfaced. Recently, Mouni Roy stepped out in the city with Sophie Choudhry. It was then that Mouni Roy encountered an elderly woman. The latter hugged her, however, she refused to let her go.

Mouni Roy, who was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar series 'Showtime' somehow managed to free herself, and she then stepped into her car.

When the woman refused to let her go, the paparazzi were heard saying, "Arre chordd do. Jaa rahi hai woh. Jaane do, please."

Talking about Mouni Roy’s career, she made her television debut with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. The actress became a household name after starring in the hit show ‘Naagin’.

Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut as a lead actress with Akshay Kumar’s Gold in ‘2018’. In 2022, Mouni Roy was seen in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial ‘Brahmastra’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.

She will next be seen in the horror comedy ‘The Virgin Tree’, co-starring Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari. 

Mouni Roy will also star in Girish Dhamija’s new Bollywood movie ‘Penthouse’. It will also feature Tisca Chopra and Arjun Rampal in key roles.
