Shah Rukh Khan is back on the silver screen with his third film of 2023, ‘Dunki’, after delivering blockbusters in the form of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.
Shah Rukh Khan, whose 2018 Bollywood movie ‘Zero’ bombed at the box office, made a comeback in 2023 with action-packed films ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’, showing off his massiest avatar ever. And now he is back on the silver screen with his third film of 2023, ‘Dunki’. The new Hindi movie marks his maiden collaboration with ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani of ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ fame. The movie also marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first time sharing screen space with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. ‘Dunki’, co-starring Boman Irani’, hit theatres today with massive fan frenzy.

During a promotional event in Dubai a few days back, Shah Rukh Khan declared that ‘Dunki’ was his best film.
When Shah Rukh Khan was asked to describe ‘Dunki’ in three words, SRK said, "Rajkumar Hirani," "My best film," and "Please watch on 21st December."
‘Dunki’, which tells the story of Indians trying to migrate to foreign countries illegally, is a Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation. The new Hindi movie is clashing with Prashanth Neel's ‘Salaar’, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, at the box office. For the unversed, ‘Salaar’ is releasing on Friday, December 22.
