Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has added yet another milestone to her illustrious career, making history as the first Indian jury member for the Louis Vuitton Prize 2025. The global fashion event, held in Paris, saw Deepika Padukone stepping into a prestigious role alongside icons like Stella McCartney and Pharrell Williams. As always, her husband and actor Ranveer Singh showed why he’s her loudest cheerleader, showering her with praise online.

Deepika shared a series of pictures from the event on her social media, instantly sending fans into a frenzy. The actress stunned in a Louis Vuitton look that perfectly captured Parisian chic: an oversized silk shirt with abstract yellow and brown prints paired with a striking golden skirt adorned with floor-length fringe detailing.

She styled the ensemble with gold stud earrings, sleek black high heels, and a black handbag. Her hair was tied neatly in a bun, while her makeup was kept minimal yet sharp – nude eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, contoured cheeks, blush, and a dark nude-brown lip. The overall look blended edgy flair with timeless elegance.

Captioning her post, Deepika wrote, “Congratulations to all the winners! Cannot wait for the world to witness your magic!”

Ranveer Singh, quick to celebrate his wife’s global achievement, dropped a playful yet affectionate comment calling her, “Hot Mama.”

The comment also carried a personal note of pride, given that Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their daughter, Dua Padukone, last year. Little Dua will turn one on September 8.

Ranveer has often spoken about parenthood, revealing during the ‘Singham Again’ trailer launch that Deepika was pregnant while filming her role as Shakti Shetty aka Lady Singham. He also shared that as new parents, he takes night duty with Dua so Deepika can rest.

Deepika and Ranveer’s journey together began on the sets of ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), followed by hits like ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) and ‘Padmaavat’ (2018). After their dreamy wedding in Lake Como, Italy, in 2018, they’ve also worked together in ‘Finding Fanny’ (2014), ‘83’ (2021) and ‘Singham Again’ (2024).

Meanwhile, Deepika was initially in talks for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ opposite Prabhas but exited reportedly due to work-hour concerns as a new mother. Triptii Dimri later replaced her.

Instead, Deepika signed Atlee’s next big action thriller opposite Allu Arjun, co-starring Mrunal Thakur. Meanwhile, Ranveer has an action-packed slate with Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ (December 6 release) and Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited ‘Don 3’.

With her historic appointment at the Louis Vuitton Prize and upcoming film ventures, Deepika continues to straddle both global fashion dominance and Indian cinema stardom.
