"Global Disruptor" Deepika Padukone Achieves Big Feat, Only Indian In THIS Prestigious List

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most-followed Indian stars currently, and she keeps on making the country proud. In the latest entertainment news, Deepika Padukone has been recognised as a "global disruptor" by international publication Deadline, and she is the only Indian on this prestigious list. Deepika Padukone has been recognised alongside va Longoria, Uma Thurman, and Lee Sung Jin.
The publication also introduced Deepika Padukone as, "Racket to Rocket: India’s Surprise Superstar is on a mission to break barriers and taboos”.
Sharing this achievement on X (formerly Twitter), trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "HOLLYWOOD PUBLICATION DEADLINE BESTOWS HONOUR ON DEEPIKA PADUKONE… #DeepikaPadukone has been recognized as a disruptor for 2024 by the international publication #Deadline."

Speaking about her journey, Deepika Padukone told Deadline, "Of course the success of a movie is important, and box office is important, and the awards and accolades are important, but for me as a person the time I’ve had with people and the experiences I have on the set of a film are the most important."
For the unversed, Deepika Padukone has already graced the stage as a presenter at the Oscars and BAFTAs.
She has also served as a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival, and she has also been featured as a cover star for TIME magazine amongst other remarkable moments.
Deepika Padukone is currently expecting the birth of her first child.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had confirmed their pregnancy earlier this year.
Ranveer and Deepika will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer ‘Singham Again’.
Deepika Padukone will also be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
