‘Cocktail 2’ First Look And Release Date Out, Teaser To Debut On THIS Date
Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Cocktail 2’ will hit screens in June and the teaser will be out this month.
The party is about to begin again! The makers of ‘Cocktail 2’ have finally unveiled the first glimpse of the much-awaited sequel, seemingly confirming that its teaser will hit theatres alongside Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Adding to the excitement, Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon shared their first-look posters from the film on social media. On Friday, the trio posted their individual looks from ‘Cocktail 2’ and teased fans about the upcoming reveal.
Sharing the posters, they wrote, “For more info, make your way to the theatres this Wednesday, March 18.” The visuals suggest a carefree beach getaway theme, with the three characters seen travelling together in a car.

Rashmika Mandanna can be seen wearing a breezy white dress and sunglasses while taking a picture, while Shahid Kapoor appears in a colourful shirt against the backdrop of a sunset. Kriti Sanon’s poster shows her feet resting out of the car window, with a tattoo on one foot that reads, “Catch the sea.”
Director Homi Adajania confirmed the teaser launch more clearly when he shared the posters and wrote, “Teaser Alert! A sneak peek for you of COCKTAIL2 on Wednesday March 18 ONLY in Theatres.” Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar reacted to the announcement, leaving heart, fire and smiley emojis in the comments section.

Although the team has not officially detailed the teaser strategy, the timing suggests that the preview will be attached to ‘Dhurandhar 2’ during its premiere on March 18.
‘Cocktail 2’ serves as the sequel to Homi Adajania’s 2012 hit ‘Cocktail’, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. The new film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 19, while its teaser will debut on March 18.
Recently, rumours suggested that the sequel might revolve around a love triangle between Shahid, Rashmika and Kriti. Homi Adajania playfully addressed the speculation when Kriti attended Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding reception in Hyderabad. Sharing a picture from the event on Instagram Stories, Homi joked, “Congrats, guys. Kriti Sanon, can you stay out of this?” Kriti responded with humour, writing, “Never…love them.”
The cast and crew wrapped up filming for ‘Cocktail 2’ in January. At the time, Homi shared several fun pictures from the film’s wrap party on social media.
The upcoming project also marks Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s second collaboration after their 2024 film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in ‘O Romeo’ and ‘Deva’, and has not yet announced any other upcoming projects apart from ‘Cocktail 2’. Kriti Sanon was last seen in ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, along with ‘Do Patti’, ‘Crew’ and ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. She is yet to reveal her next projects.
Rashmika Mandanna, who most recently appeared in films such as ‘Chhaava’, ‘Sikandar’, ‘Kuberaa’, ‘Thamma’ and ‘The Girlfriend’, has several upcoming projects including ‘Mysaa’ and ‘Ranabaali’ alongside Vijay Deverakonda, in addition to ‘Cocktail 2’. The actress was also recently in the spotlight for her wedding to Vijay Deverakonda in February, followed by a reception in March.
Produced by Maddock Films and directed by Homi Adajania, ‘Cocktail 2’ – starring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon – is slated for a theatrical release on June 19, 2026.
