‘Chandu Champion’ First Poster Out, Kartik Aaryan Stuns With Never-Seen-Before Avatar In His Career’s “Most Challenging Film”
The first poster of Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan, is finally out.
Kartik Aaryan has cemented his place in Bollywood as a bankable star. He rose to fame with his acting debut in the 2011 Hindi movie ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, where his monologue became insanely popular. While he struggled after his acting debut, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ marked a significant turning point in Kartik Aaryan’s career. And since then, there has been no looking back for him. Kartik Aaryan continued to rise in the industry with movies like ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Dhamaka’, and ‘Freddy’.
In the recent years, Kartik Aaryan has delivered box office hits like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’. And now, he will be seen in Kabir Khan’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Chandu Champion’. Ahead of the film’s release next month, Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram and shared the first poster of ‘Chandu Champion’.
He captioned the post, “Champion Aa Raha Hai... Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career.”

In the first poster of the film, Kartik Aaryan showcased his never-seen-before avatar as he put his athletic body on display. He can be seen drenched in sweat and running on a field. The text on the poster read, “The man who refused to surrender.”
A day ago, Kartik Aaryan shared a sneak peek of the first poster of ‘Chandu Champion’ on Instagram. However, things took a surprising turn when his mischievous pet dog, Katori, interrupted his promotional diaries.
In the playful video, Katori teared apart the poster. Sharing the video on Instagram, Kartik Aaryan had written, “Aaj se promotion ka shubharambh hona tha lekin. Katori ne poster hi phaad dia. Ab kal hi ayega poster.”
Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ will narrate the story of a sportsman's resilience and determination. As per reports, the upcoming Hindi movie is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming.
The upcoming movie marks Kartik Aaryan’s first project with director Kabir Khan, known for helming films like ‘Kabul Express’, ‘New York’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘83’.
Kartik Aaryan was last seen in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, co-starring Kiara Advani. Last year, he also made a cameo appearance in Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.
Apart from ‘Chandu Champion’ which releases on June 14, 2024, Kartik Aaryan will also star in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled next.
Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in an untitled project, backed by Karan Johar. The movie was announced last year on Kartik Aaryan’s birthday.
