Cannes 2023: Sunny Leone turned heads in a blush pink gown featuring a thigh-high slit at the premiere of her film ‘Kennedy’.
The Cannes Film Festival 2023 is in full swing with several Indian celebrities marking their presence at the event and serving some of the most jaw-dropping fashion moments of the season. Among the many stars, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone turned heads as she walked the red carpet at the screening of her film ‘Kennedy’. She wore a blush pink gown with a thigh-high slit. This comes after she made a magnificent debut at Cannes 2023 in a maroon velvet gown.
Sunny Leone was accompanied by ‘Kennedy’ director Anurag Kashyap and her co-star Rahul Bhat as she made a stunning entry.
Sharing jaw-dropping pictures on Instagram, the Bollywood actress wrote, "The world premiere of #kennedy and I could not be more proud to represent Indian cinema. Such an amazing moment for myself and the entire team!"

She also shared another set of pictures which featured herself with Anurag Kashyap and Rahul Bhat. Posting the pictures on Instagram, she wrote, “The proudest moment of my career so far! Thank you @anuragkashyap10 for this moment! And @itsrahulbhat for letting me be share the screen with you in this amazing performance! Love you both!”
Anurag Kashyap, who is a regular at Cannes, wore a black bandhgala suit. Rahul Bhat donned a classic tuxedo.
For the event, Sunny Leone wore an exquisite blush pink gown styled by Ilya Vanzato. The gown, designed by Naja Saade, featured one-shoulder design with a double strap adorned with a shimmering brooch embellishment. The gown also featured elegant cut-outs on the shoulder and waist.
The gown also came with a thigh-high slit, a floor-sweeping hem length and a cape-like attachment. To complement the stunning gown, Sunny Leone chose minimal yet striking jewellery. She paired her ensemble with statement rings and dainty tear-drop earrings.
Sunny Leone rounded off the gown with strappy high heels. The Bollywood actress opted for a side-parted sleek bun. Her makeup included winged eyeliner, a bold red lip shade, shimmery eye shadow, feathered brows, blushed cheekbones, and a beaming highlighter.
A video from the event is going viral on social media. The video shows Sunny Leone and Anurag Kashyap walking the red carpet with Rahul Bhat. As they stopped to pose for the cameras, strong winds made it difficult for Sunny to properly unfurl the gown’s train. Anurag Kashyap helped her out by trying to set it properly on the red carpet.

On Tuesday, the actress also posted a picture with director Anurag Kashyap, stating that the tickets for ‘Kennedy’ were "sold out in minutes" ahead of its big premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
‘Kennedy’ was a part of midnight screenings during the Festival de Cannes. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, ‘Kennedy’ features Rahul Bhat, Sunny Leone and Abhilash Thapliyal in the lead roles. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought to be dead, but still looking for redemption.
Another Indian film, Kanu Behl’s ‘Agra’, also premiered at Cannes on the same day as ‘Kennedy’.
