Director Anurag Kashyap's 'Kennedy' premiered at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2023, and the movie got a thunderous seven-minute standing ovation from the audience at the Grand Lumiere Theatre. A video of the entire sequence was shared by the official YouTube handle of the Film Festival. As the audience applauded, the lead stars of 'Kennedy' -- Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone got visibly emotional. Anurag Kashyap had a big smile on his face and he also thanked everyone who were present.
In the video, Sunny Leone told Anurag Kashyap: "You did it."

Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra was also present in the auditorium, and Anurag Kashyap walked up to him and touched his feet as well. The two then shared a hug as well.
‘Kennedy’ was a part of midnight screenings during the Festival de Cannes. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, ‘Kennedy’ features Rahul Bhat, Sunny Leone and Abhilash Thapliyal in the lead roles.
The new Hindi film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought to be dead, but still looking for redemption.
Another Indian film, Kanu Behl’s ‘Agra’, also premiered at Cannes on the same day as ‘Kennedy’.
Earlier, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone turned heads as she walked the red carpet at the screening of her film ‘Kennedy’. She wore a blush pink gown with a thigh-high slit. This comes after she made a magnificent debut at Cannes 2023 in a maroon velvet gown.
Sunny Leone was accompanied by ‘Kennedy’ director Anurag Kashyap and her co-star Rahul Bhat as she made a stunning entry.
