Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut with a Netflix series. And finally, we have an update for you regarding the much-anticipated show, focusing on the life of Bollywood stars. The title was announced on Monday evening at a star-studded event in Mumbai. The series is called ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ and it was revealed by none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself. A promo for the show featuring King Khan was also unveiled. Even director Aryan Khan made an appearance in the promotional video.

The promo video began with SRK being in front of the camera, attempting to deliver his lines. “Picture toh saalo se baaki hai,” SRK can be seen saying in the announcement video.

However, the director asked him for multiple takes in different styles. After several retakes, Shah Rukh Khan snapped and asked, “Baap ka raj hai kya?”

It is then that Aryan Khan appeared, saying, “Haan.” SRK playfully said, “Chup! Ab main take karunga, aur tum sab dekhoge, nahi…sikhoge.”

King Khan finally introduces Aryan Khan’s show, calling it the “Baddest, bravest, wackiest, maddest, and filmiest show on earth.”

The title ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’ then appeared on screen. The clip also had also a cheeky nod to Atlee's blockbuster ‘Jawan’, where Aryan Khan referenced SRK’s famous dialogue “Bete pe haath uthane se pehle...”

At the event, SRK also said that he is just a “naam ka producer” when he is actually just a “bloody star”.

Not just Shah Rukh Khan, even Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan were present at the event for Aryan Khan's big day.

As per the official synopsis, the show is set against the backdrop of the film industry. The project promises an “unabashed, entertaining ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood”.

Speaking of SRK, he will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’, alongside Suhana Khan. The film will reportedly also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The movie is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.

SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The superstar had delivered three hits in 2023 in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.

'Pathaan' marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of more than four years after his 2018 film ‘Zero’ tanked at the box office.
