Alia Bhatt recently sang Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s song ‘Oo Antava’ from Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming Hindi film 'Jigra', which is set to release in cinemas on Friday, October 11. The promotional tour for the Vasan Bala directorial made its way to Hyderabad on Tuesday. The event was also attended by popular Telugu stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, director Trivikram and Rana Daggubati. The event eventually turned into a celebration and mutual admiration between Alia and Samantha. A video from the event is now going viral on social media.
In the clip, Alia Bhatt can be seen singing Samantha Ruth Prabhu's song 'Oo Antava' from the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer 'Pushpa: The Rise'.
Alia Bhatt was seen sitting next to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and she couldn’t stop laughing when she tried to sing the uber-popular Telugu song.

Rana Daggubati was also seen having a good time with Alia Bhatt and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He was seen sitting on the head rest of a sofa to see Alia Bhatt singing the song.
During the event, Alia Bhatt also highlighted Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s remarkable ability to thrive in a male-dominated industry.
"My dearest Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, for your resilience, for your strength," Alia Bhatt said.
"It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet, and you have your talent, and your strong kicks to be an example for everyone," she added.

Alia then turned her attention towards director Trivikram Srinivas, requesting a collaborative project with Samantha.
“I think Samantha and I should be in a film written and directed by you,” Alia said.
Coming back to 'Jigra', the film marks the first collaboration between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, who made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, which premiered on Netflix last year.
The movie also stars Manoj Pahwa, who was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's Hindi web series 'IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack'.
The upcoming Hindi movie is directed by Vasan Bala, who has earlier helmed projects like 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota', and 'Monica, O My Darling'.
'Jigra' is produced by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
