Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Housefull 5', which is all set to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025. Ahead of the release, the film's star cast, including Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Sonam Bajwa, among others, attended an event in Pune on Sunday. However, things quickly took a chaotic turn after the fans went wild upon spotting Khiladi Kumar. The situation got so out of control that Akshay had to step in to calm the crowd.

The mall, where the event was held, overflowed with fans with every corner packed to the rafters. Several videos showed young girls and women in tears. Those at the back were seen pushing and shoving others just to catch a glimpse of the actors.

Taking a stock of the situation, Akshay Kumar soon grabbed the mic and said, “Dhakka dhukki mat kariye, please. Haath jod ke vinanti karta hoon, yahan auratein hai, bachhe hain...I request everyone, please.”

Akshay Kumar also folded his hands while making this request. The rest of the cast sported a tense look due to the uncontrollable crowd situation.

After the crowd calmed down, the 'Housefull 5' team proceeded with the event. Akshay, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline, Sonam, and others were also seen dancing.

'Housefull 5' has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani. As per the trailer, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan are the main suspects for a murder.

The film also stars Chitrangada Singh, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, and more.

During the trailer launch event, producer Sajia Nadiadwala also revealed that 'Housefull 5' will be released in theatres with multiple endings to keep the audience guessing.

"I have been thinking about this idea for the past 30 years - how to create a thriller with an X factor that leaves the audience talking long after they leave the theatre. So I came up with a story where every theatre will have a different killer," he said.

"So if you watch it at Gaiety, it’ll have one killer. If you watch it at Galaxy, there’ll be somebody else. In PVR screen number 4, you’ll see a different killer, and in PVR screen number 5, yet another one. It’s like every time you watch the film, you’ll get a different ending," he added.
