Ahaan Panday And Sharvari Wagh's Next Gets Release Date. Check Deets
Alongside Ahaan Panday, the film features Sharvari, Aaishvary Thackeray and Bobby Deol in key roles.
After making a sensational debut with 'Saiyaara', Ahaan Panday is wasting no time moving on to his next big-screen outing. The young actor is set to lead another ambitious Yash Raj Films project, this time under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar. While snippets from the film's UK schedule have already generated considerable buzz online, the makers have now officially confirmed when audiences can expect to watch it in theatres.
Backed by Aditya Chopra, the yet-to-be-titled film is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 26, 2027, coinciding with the Good Friday holiday. Alongside Ahaan, the film features Sharvari, Aaishvary Thackeray and Bobby Deol in key roles. The project also marks the fifth collaboration between producer Aditya Chopra and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, whose previous partnerships include 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', 'Gunday', 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.
Even before Ahaan's rise to stardom, Ali Abbas Zafar had spoken highly of the actor's abilities. In an interview with Hindustan Times in February 2025, the filmmaker praised Ahaan's emotional depth, saying the newcomer doesn't merely portray emotions but genuinely experiences them on screen.
The film also generated headlines when reports emerged in November 2025 that Aaishvary Thackeray had been cast as the story's principal antagonist. The decision reportedly came after his performance in Anurag Kashyap's 'Nishaanchi' caught the attention of the makers.
The upcoming entertainer will serve as the second feature film for both Ahaan Panday and Aaishvary Thackeray. Ahaan shot to nationwide fame with 'Saiyaara', which emerged as India's highest-grossing romantic film, firmly establishing him as one of Bollywood's most promising new stars. Aaishvary, meanwhile, earned widespread appreciation from critics for his work in 'Nishaanchi', making this project another significant milestone in his career.
Sharvari, who began her acting journey with Yash Raj Films' 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' in 2021, has steadily built her filmography over the past few years. Although her debut didn't perform as expected at the box office, she bounced back with the commercial success of 'Munjya'. Since then, she has appeared in films including 'Vedaa', 'Maharaj', 'Main Vaapas Aaunga' and 'Alpha'. Her latest release, 'Alpha', received mixed-to-negative reviews and concluded its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of ₹98.44 crore, including ₹58 crore from India.
Meanwhile, Ahaan's slate with Yash Raj Films continues to expand. The actor is also attached to another project that will reunite him with Saiyaara director Mohit Suri and co-star Aneet Padda.
