“Sab Kuch Woh…”: Abhijeet Bhattacharya Takes Another Dig At Shah Rukh Khan
Abhijeet Bhattacharya recently opened up about his complicated relationship with Shah Rukh Khan.

There was a time when singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya was known as the voice of Shah Rukh Khan. Abhijeet has sung some popular tracks for SRK like ‘Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Mein’, ‘Wada Raha Sanam’, ‘Tauba Tumhare Ye Ishaare’, ‘Khud Ko Kya Samajhti Hai’, and ‘Baadshah O Baadshah’ among others. However, the duo has been at loggerheads for a long time now. The musician has now opened up on his complicated relationship with the Bollywood superstar. Taking a sharp swipe at SRK once again, the veteran playback singer claimed that the actor got credit for all their collaborations.
In a new interview with ANI, Abhijeet Bhattacharya made a sarcastic remark while speaking about SRK’s dominance in everything.
The singer explained his relation with Shah Rukh, saying, “We're like twins, I mean, it seems that way with the voice. Now I realize that all these songs aren't mine. Shah Rukh sang this song, Shah Rukh wrote this song, Shah Rukh composed the music, Shah Rukh made the film, Shah Rukh is the cinematographer.”
“Everything is Shah Rukh. What can I do? People tell me it's Shah Rukh's song, and then I realize, oh, right, it's not mine. Sab kuch woh hi hai toh bhai main kya karun,” he added.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya also took a dig at Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji’s 'Chalte Chalte', calling the film average but its songs a hit – another not-so-subtle jab at how credit is allegedly misplaced in Bollywood.
The singer said, “Chalte Chalte film average hi thi, gaane hit the, sirf gaane hi hit the, par ab kya kar sakte hain.”
For the unversed, Abhijeet Bhattacharya is a famous Indian playback singer and he is known for his versatility. He has sung more than 1,000 tracks in Bollywood and other regional languages. He has also won several awards, including Filmfare Awards and Zee Cine Awards.
Coming back to SRK, he recently lent his voice to the Hindi version of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. It released in Indian theatres on December 20, 2024.
SRK will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s 'King', alongside Suhana Khan. The film will reportedly also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The movie is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The superstar had delivered three hits in 2023 in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.
'Pathaan' marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of more than four years after his 2018 film ‘Zero’ tanked at the box office.
