Shah Rukh Khan As Avenger? ‘Captain America’ Star Anthony Mackie Thinks He’s “Damn Best”
Anthony Mackie, the lead actor of ‘Captain America’, has expressed his fondness for Shah Rukh Khan, saying the Bollywood superstar is the “best”.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is all set to release in theatres on Valentine's Day. The Marvel Studios’ latest offering has not generated the same amount of buzz as some of the previous movies. But overall, the film is expected to do well despite a clash with Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Chhaava’. Ahead of the upcoming release, Anthony Mackie, the lead actor of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, has expressed his fondness for Shah Rukh Khan, saying the Bollywood superstar is the “best”.
In an interview, Anthony Mackie was asked which Bollywood star he would recruit as the next Avenger. The star did not waste a second before naming King Khan.
“I think Shah Rukh Khan, he’s the damn best,” said Anthony Mackie while speaking to social media influencer Kevin Zingkhai.
For the unversed, ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ stars Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson.
The latest offering of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been directed by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. The superhero flick promises thrilling action sequences and new twists to take the universe forward.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will be releasing in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Coming back to SRK, he recently lent his voice to the Hindi version of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. It released in Indian theatres on December 20.
SRK will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s 'King', alongside Suhana Khan. The film will reportedly also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The movie is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The superstar had delivered three hits in 2023 in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.
'Pathaan' marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of more than four years after his 2018 film ‘Zero’ tanked at the box office.
