Earlier, in a previous video, Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were seen at loggerheads after Aamir mistakenly addressed the ‘Tamasha’ actor as “Ranbir Singh”.
The video began with Aamir chatting with Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, when Rishabh Pant interrupted, asking for a photo. However, Aamir was left stunned when Rishabh clarified that he actually wanted a picture with Ranbir.
Introducing Ranbir to Rishabh, Aamir jokingly said, “Rishu, he’s your generation’s biggest star, Ranbir Singh.” Rohit Sharma quickly corrected him, reminding Aamir of Ranbir’s actual surname.
The banter escalated when Ranbir took a playful dig at Aamir’s age, suggesting that he should retire now that he has turned 60. Snapping back, Aamir quips, “Today’s youngsters—their ego is bigger than their box office collection.”
The advertisement ended with Aamir and Ranbir challenging each other to a cricket match. The two can be seen selecting their favorite players for ‘Aamir Khan XI vs. Ranbir Kapoor XI’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir Khan will next be seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ alongside Genelia Deshmukh. On the other hand, Ranbir has Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ in the pipeline, where he will portray Lord Ram.
The two-part adaptation also stars Yash, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, and Sunny Deol. Additionally, Ranbir has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ in the works, which will also feature Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
