SYNOPSIS

The film Avinash usually refers to the popular 1986 Hindi-language action thriller directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by Kavita Ramsay. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Parveen Babi, and Poonam Dhillon, the movie follows the story of Avinash—a club dancer and singer whose life takes a dark turn after his friend is murdered for capturing terrorist activities on film.

The film gained massive popularity for Mithun's dancing in front of the opening title card—a unique stylistic choice that was a huge rage at the time.

Synopsis 
Avinash, a singer and a dealer of stolen goods, finds his life thrown into chaos when goons break into his home seeking a missing video film that his friend managed to record. His mother is killed, his fiancée and brother are tortured, and Avinash himself is shot at sea and presumed dead. He survives but loses his memory and soon finds himself on the run from the goons, a mysterious woman trying to seduce him, and a police inspector.
