SYNOPSIS

Kranti is a monumental Indian historical action film directed and produced by Manoj Kumar. Set during the British Raj, the story follows a devout royal employee, Sanga, and a revolutionary leader, Bharat, who unite to spark a mass rebellion against British colonial rule and free India. Released on February 3, 1981, Kranti was a massive blockbuster and one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the decade.

Synopsis
The story is set in the fictional kingdom of Ramgarh, where a loyal subject named Sanga is falsely imprisoned for the murder of the Raja. After escaping, Sanga forms a band of revolutionaries to drive the British out of India. Meanwhile, the Raja's son, Bharat, leads an underground uprising against the oppressive colonial rulers and corrupt Indian traitors. The film is celebrated for its sweeping scale, patriotic themes, and unforgettable music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
