The first episode of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan 8’, featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, is finally out. The one-hour-long episode was truly an entertaining affair, and it saw Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh letting their guards down. The duo also, for the first time, spoke about their relationship at length, revealing several adorable details. Deepika Padukone also talked about her battle with depression and how Ranveer Singh was a figure of support through the difficult times in 2014.
The episode also saw Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh releasing unseen footage from their picture-perfect wedding. After the wedding footage got over, Karan Johar was seen tearing up.

Talking about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding footage, the video opens with the latter gushing about Deepika Padukone at their engagement party. Deepika's father Prakash Padukone also makes an appearance, saying Ranveer Singh brings excitement to "boring" family of theirs.
Later, several dreamy and adorable clips from their wedding functions are played. Ranveer Singh is first dancing at his mehendi function by the lake. Then, we see Deepika Padukone being adorned with jewels as she prepares for her wedding.
The first episode of 'Koffee With Karan 8' also saw Ranveer Singh narrating how he proposed to Deepika Padukone in Maldives in 2015.
Ranveer Singh then further said that he and Deepika Padukone flew to Bengaluru right after to meet her parents and break their engagement news to them. Ranveer and Deepika laughed on how the latter's mother was not too thrilled about her choosing Ranveer Singh initially.
Talking about 'Koffee With Karan 8', a new episode airs on Disney+ Hotstar every Thursday midnight.
