'Dahaad' teaser: Sonakshi Sinha plays a police office in this Indian web series.

The first teaser for Sonakshi Sinha's OTT debut show 'Dahaad' has dropped. The eight-part crime-drama series also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah. The new Hindi web series will follow Sonakshi Sinha's character Anjali Bhaati and how she goes on a hunt to find 27 missing girls. The one-minute-long teaser first shows how women are being found dead in public bathrooms. The ‘Dahaad’ teaser then shows how the deaths seem to be suicides, but as the cases start to increase, sub-inspector Anjali realises that there is a serial killer on the loose.

Then the ‘Dahaad’ teaser shows how there is a cat and mouse game between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop. 

“Dahaad has been a truly rewarding experience. From the inception itself we knew we were on to something that is powerful and challenging. For us at Tiger Baby, and the cast and crew, this is a special series, and we promise that it that will leave the viewers glued to their screens with its riveting story which has been brought to life masterfully by Sonakshi, Vijay, Gulshan and Soham,” said creator, director, and co-Producer of the series Reema Kagti in a statement.

In 'Dahaad', Sonakshi Sinha is playing a lady cop, who is trying to solve a gruesome murder case, with a criminal on the loose. 

The Hindi web series is an 8-part crime drama that follows sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues in a small-town police station. It all starts when a series of women are mysteriously found dead in public bathrooms, and how sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with the investigation. 

The Hindi web series is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on May 12.
