“…Mujhe Kisi Din Pitwayega”: Urfi Javed Clarifies “Bhaad Mein Jaaye Ranbir Kapoor” Remark
Just a day after Urfi Javed responded to Ranbir Kapoor's comment on her fashion sense, the actress made it clear that she was joking when she said “bhaad mein jaaye Ranbir”.
Social media sensation and actress Urfi Javed knows how to remain in the limelight. Be it her eccentric fashion choices or her controversial statements, she often makes headlines for various reasons. Recently, Urfi Javed responded to Ranbir Kapoor’s comment on her fashion sense and said “bhaad mein jaaye Ranbir”. However, she has now backpedalled on her remarks about the Bollywood actor after it was extensively reported by media portals. Urfi Javed clarified her comments on her Instagram Stories, saying that she was “being sarcastic”.
Urfi also said she didn’t mean that Ranbir Kapoor should literally "go to hell" for his earlier remark on her style being in "bad taste”. On her Instagram Stories, Urfi Javed shared one of the several media reports on her "bhaad mein jaaye" quote, given in an interview with Humans Of Bombay.
Along with it, she wrote, "I never said this. I was just joking ki Ranbir bhaad me jaaye, Kareena ne tareef kar di ab. I was being sarcastic. Sarcasm, humour. Whatever Ranbir said was his point of view. I didn't find anything malicious in his statement. Sach me bhaad me jaane ko nahi bola maine.”

It was followed by a video on her Instagram Stories in which she added, “I never said go to hell Ranbir. I mean... I said it in a very sarcastic and humorous way with no disrespect meant to anyone. And bhaad is not equal to hell.”
In the next video, Urfi said, "Mera sarcasm mujhe kisi din pitwayega, actually mera nangapan mujhe kisi din pitwayega. In short, main kisi din pit jaungi yaa toh mere kapdon ki vajah se yaa baaton ki vajah se."
For the unversed, the incident spiralled after Ranbir Kapoor expressed his views on Urfi Javed's sartorial picks while speaking to Kareena Kapoor Khan on her show 'What Women Want' last month.
Ranbir Kapoor said that he did not like Urfi's fashion sense, terming it as "bad taste". On the other hand, Kareena, in one of the interviews, heaped praises on Urfi's fashion sense.
Urfi recently spoke to Humans of Bombay, wherein she opened up about Kareena hailing her confidence.
"I was blown away, I couldn't believe it at first. I thought she might have said something bad and these people are joking with me that she has said something good. But then I saw the video and that day I felt that I have achieved something in life. Kareena Kapoor complimented me, I was like I have achieved a lot," she said.
She added, “Kareena Kapoor ne meri tareef ki hai! Kareena Kapoor ne! Woh jo gum tha ki Ranbir Kapoor ne bola 'bad taste,' maine bola 'bhaad main jaaye Ranbir Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor ne meri tarif kar di hai fir kya hai Ranbir ki aukat.”
Urfi Javed, who was last seen in the MTV dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla 14’, earned a name for herself after appearing in daily soaps like ‘Meri Durga’, ‘Phero Ki Hera Pheri’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain’ among several others.
The ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ fame has reportedly been approached for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. However, there is no confirmation regarding her participation in the show so far.
