“Laughing At People Who Got Offended”: Divya Agarwal Says She Won’t Participate In ‘Lock Upp 2’, ‘Bigg Boss’ Or Other Reality Shows

The queen of reality shows, Divya Agarwal, became a household name after participating in the MTV dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla 10’. But looks like Divya is done and dusted with reality TV as the diva recently revealed that she won’t be taking part in any reality shows including ‘Lock Upp 2’ and ‘Bigg Boss 17’. Although ‘Lock Upp 2’ is yet to go on floors, speculations about the Kangana Ranaut-hosted controversial reality show have been rife since the past few weeks. 

There are rumours suggesting that Divya Agarwal, Umar Riaz and Archana Gautam will participate in the upcoming season of ‘Lock Upp 2’. 

However, Divya Agarwal has clarified that she is not participating in ‘Lock Upp 2’ or any other reality shows. After the rumours spread like wildfire, the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ winner issued a clarification on her Twitter handle.

Divya Agarwal addressed the constant speculations over her entry in ‘Lock Upp 2’ in the video. While she said that she is excited to know people want to see her in the show, she is not keen to participate in a reality show at the moment.

"Guys I am so thrilled to see you guys so happy with my entry in Lock Upp 2. Let me tell you- I am not doing Lock Upp 2, Bigg Boss or any other reality show as a contestant anymore. I have done it all. I am quite happy," Divya Agarwal said in her video.

She added, “So sorry to the people who were excited for my entry. I am also laughing at the people who got so offended with the entry. I am not doing the show guys, chill.”

Talking about ‘Lock Upp 2’, many names like Urfi Javed, Soundarya Sharma, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary had also been doing the rounds. However, there is no confirmation on any of the contestants yet. 

Coming back to Divya Agarwal, she is quite active on Instagram and keeps her fans updated about her personal and professional life.

Divya Agarwal has also been in the news for her relationship with businessman Apurva Padgaonkar. The two got engaged in December last year.

She was previously in a relationship with Varun Sood. The two met and fell in love on the sets on ‘Ace of Space’. However, Varun Sood and Divya Agarwal called it quits in March 2022.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she was last seen essaying a pivotal role in Kunal Kemmu's ZEE5 series ‘Abhay 3’. She also featured in the music video, ‘Resham Ka Rumal’.

Prior to ‘Abhay 3’ and the music video, Divya featured in Karan Johar-hosted ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Divya not only won the hearts of many with her stint on the reality show but also emerged as its winner. 

Before ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, she had also won the first season of MTV ‘Ace of Space’.

Divya rose to fame after starring in MTV ‘Splitsvilla 10’. With her appearances on multiple reality shows, the actress cultivated a huge fanbase on social media and currently enjoys a massive following of 3.2 million on Instagram.
