"Don't Think...": Mannara Chopra Reacts To Munawar Faruqui's Claim Of Her Kissing Him Inside 'BB 17' House
'Bigg Boss 17': Mannara Chopra has opened up on the equation she shares with Munawar Faruqui and the claim that she kissed him
'Bigg Boss 17' came to an end on January 28, and it was Munawar Faruqui who ended up winning the Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show. Mannara Chopra finished as the second runner-up, and ever since the show came to an end, fans have been wondering whether Mannara and Munawar, fondly referred to as 'MunAra', are friends or not. In the latest entertainment news, Mannara Chopra has opened up on the equation she shares with Munawar. During the interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mannara opened up on her feelings for Munawar, and she even addressed his claims of her kissing him.
“I already said what I said on the show, a lot of guests who came in the house also explained to him. When Rohit Sir and Pooja Mam (Rohit Shetty and Pooja Bhatt) came, even they told Munawar. I don’t know why Isha said that, but she needs to grow up. I have been busy in my career, whenever I took a flight to Hyderabad, I never got papped," Mannara said, as reported by Indian Express.
"So when I keep myself so restricted and reserved, then on a reality show how can I be that person? It was not a romantic show, it was a reality show and my reality was that I was not comfortable in that space. Munawar is a sweet person and he supported me in the house. I have respect for both Abhishek and Munawar, they are best buddies, so they should tell me who they are dating. There was no romantic angle between me and Munawar," she added.
Mannara Chopra, who is the cousin of actress Priyanka Chopra, also commented on Munawar’s claims that she kissed him during the Diwali celebrations on the show.
“I have heard about this, but I don’t think they would have shown something like this on TV. I don’t know why he said that, but I will ask him about it when we meet. You should ask him about why he said this. When my sister came on the show, she said that my comfort with Munawar was just like I shared with my sister. It was just a friendship, where he guided me," said Mannara.
On the work front, Mannara Chopra is being rumoured to participate in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14'. However, there is no official confirmation about this.
'Bigg Boss 17' was eventually won by stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Kumar finised as the runner-up.
Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mashettey were the other finalists of the 17th season of the uber-popular reality TV show.
