“Shot Whole Film In Between”: Virat Kohli Lauds Anushka Sharma For Balancing Motherhood And Career
Virat Kohli recently shared how after meeting Anushka Sharma, he was "forced" to open up his “horizons” of thinking.
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are the power couple of Tinsel Town, winning the hearts of millions of fans with their lovely chemistry. The celebrity couple embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are each other's biggest supporters and loudest cheerleaders. They never shy away from expressing their love for each other publically. Virat Kohli once again expressed his admiration for his ladylove, lauding how she balanced her career and motherhood and revealing the valuable lessons he has learned from her.
In a new interview with Wrogn, Virat Kohli shared how after meeting Anushka Sharma, he was “forced” to open up his “horizons of thinking”. The cricketer also emphasised that seeing Anushka Sharma becoming a mother made him learn about the strength of women.
He said, “She (Anushka) always told me if you know you are standing by the truth then you don’t have to worry about anything because the path will carve itself out and things will always be clean and separated.”
Virat Kohli also shared that he and Anushka Sharma are making efforts to become “better” every day as he added, “We met as two individuals and we have organically come to a position where we are growing as people, the personalities and identities are subsiding quickly. It’s a blessing that we are constantly trying to become better every day.”
After meeting Anushka Sharma, the Indian cricketer was “forced” to open his “horizon of thinking” as he understood that life can’t happen in just one particular way. He realised his partner had a “standing of her own”. So, he will have to accept it too.
“When they have a standing of their own, you have to accept it and process it into your system, which is something we didn’t grow up with,” Virat Kohli said.
Watching Anushka becoming a mother, made the cricketer understand how strong women are. He said, “Seeing her become a mother was amazing but I also saw what it takes to become a mother. Just the way she has handled everything… she has shot a whole film in between that, it is astonishing. That is when you realise the strength of a woman properly.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Virat Kohli is currently busy with the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023.
Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of her sports drama, ‘Chakda Xpress’, which is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
