The highlight of the visit was a rare glimpse of the singer participating in an aarti at the family’s private temple. Dressed in her signature cool-girl glamour, Rihanna was captured offering prayers, a moment that quickly resonated with fans across the globe. The festivities didn't stop at the temple; the pop star was later seen playing fugdi and dancing joyfully as a shower of flower petals fell over the group, reflecting the lively and festive spirit of the afternoon.
When Rihanna and the Ambanis were in the same room, the fashion was guaranteed to be headline-worthy. Rihanna opted for a rich, chocolate-brown silk maxi dress. The ensemble featured a high, draped neckline and a fluid, floor-length silhouette. To break the monochrome palette, she accessorised with an oversized dark forest green Lady Dior clutch in the iconic quilted cannage pattern. The look was elevated with stunning jewellery, including a chunky crystal-embellished choker and dramatic drop earrings, finished off with a bold red manicure and her signature henna hand tattoos.
The Ambani women, however, held their own with equally stunning designer looks. Radhika Merchant stunned in a Miu Miu ensemble, featuring a white embellished shirt adorned with crystal dandelion details, paired with a matching beige embroidered skirt and neutral heels.
Isha Ambani showcased her flair for bold colour as she wore a striking crimson Chanel dress. The outfit featured a sheer overlay with delicate beadwork and a floor-sweeping pleated skirt. Shloka Mehta exuded understated elegance as she wore a floral lace midi skirt paired with a classic white puff-sleeve blouse and emerald drop earrings.
This visit marks a significant return for Rihanna, who first made waves in India back in 2024 with her legendary performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar. During that performance, she famously thanked the family for their hospitality before performing hits like ‘Work’ and ‘Umbrella’.
The current visit serves a dual purpose: deepening her personal bond with the Ambanis and solidifying her business footprint in India. Brought to the country by Reliance Retail, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is now available through the beauty platform Tira and global retailer Sephora.
The Antilia luncheon follows a star-studded after-party in Mumbai where Rihanna was seen mingling with the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, and Orry.
