India vs England, T20 World Cup Semis: Hardik Pandya was the unsung hero for India as the Men in Blue stormed to yet another T20 World Cup final.
India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, are one just win away from defending the T20 World Cup title and winning the tournament for the third time. The Men in Blue won the semi-final against England by seven runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday after Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya produced a masterclass in the end overs to help the hosts defend the score of 253 and progress to the summit clash. Not just the ball, Hardik also chipped in with the bat, scoring 27 runs of 12 balls.

Hardik Pandya had some extra incentive to perform as his girlfriend Maheika Sharma and son Agastya were at the venue watching the encounter up close and personal. However, little Agastya was not pleased one bit after Hardik lost his wicket due to a run out during the final few minutes of India's batting innings.
A viral video showed Hardik walking back to the hut. The camera then quickly panned to Agastya, who can be seen shouting at the top of his voice, seemingly saying, “Papa, papa”.

Maheika cheered on Hardik, but Agastya's hand gestures made it clear that he did not like the seasoned all-rounder being dismissed and not lasting till the end of the batting innings. This was the first time in the T20 World Cup 2026 that Agastya came to watch the match at the ground. On the other hand, Maheika has been seen accompanying Hardik right through the tournament.

Earlier this month, Hardik had also gifted his son Agastya a Land Rover Defender worth INR 4 crore. The 5-year-old received the car keys from the showroom owner in Mumbai, and Hardik's ex-wife, Natasa Stankovic, was also spotted with him.

Presented to Agastya Pandya and Ms Stankovic. Crafted for command,” read the caption of the official Instagram account of Land Rover Mumbai.
“Engineered for those who lead from the front,” the caption added.
Speaking of Natasa and Hardik, the duo announced their separation in July 2024; however, they continue to co-parent Agastya.
“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us,” Hardik's Instagram post read.
“This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family. We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives, and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness,” the statement added.
Hardik had exchanged wedding vows with Natasa on May 31, 2020. The couple then remarried in the presence of close friends and family on February 14, 2023.
