Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur are joining hands for a new film, set to be directed by Parasuram Petla.
Get ready to witness another fresh pairing on the silver screen soon! Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur will be coming together for the first time for a Telugu film, set to be directed by Parasuram Petla. Vijay and Mrunal have joined hands for the new film, which is tentatively called ‘SVC 54’ as it marks the 54th project of Sri Venkaterswara Creations, the production company backing the movie. It is also referred to as ‘VD 13’ as it is the thirteenth project of Vijay Deverakonda.
Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur delighted their fans by sharing glimpses from the film’s launch puja. While Mrunal Thakur looked gorgeous as ever in a lavender suit, Vijay Deverakonda looked dapper in a green kurta.

This project will mark Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram Petla’s second collaboration after ‘Geetha Govindam’.
Producer Dil Raju and Sirish are bankrolling the project, which was launched on Wednesday in Hyderabad. Gopi Sundar, who composed the music for Vijay Deverakonda-Parasuram’s ‘Geetha Govindam’, is again teaming up with the duo for the upcoming film.
Meanwhile, this will be Mrunal Thakur's third Telugu project after the blockbuster ‘Sita Ramam’ and the upcoming film ‘Nani 30’. She was last seen in the murder mystery ‘Gumraah’ featuring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Ronit Roy.
Vijay Deverakonda, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his film ‘Khushi’. The romantic drama features him alongside Samantha Ruth Prabu and is directed by Shiva Nirvana.
He will also be seen in a film by Gowtam Tinnanuri. He last starred in ‘Liger’ with Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishnan.
