The undisputed highlight of the album – and the subject of Kajal’s final, sweet photo – was their visit to the famous Field of Light installation by artist Bruce Munro. In a series of stunning twilight shots, Kajal was seen posing amidst thousands of illuminated glass spheres that she described as “shimmering like a living galaxy on earth”.
Dressed in a chic black peplum top featuring silver botanical embroidery and a statement gold choker, she looked radiant. In the final slide, she playfully made a heart shape with her hands, framing the glowing landscape behind her. One particularly striking shot showed Kajal and Gautam standing together amidst the lights, looking like a power couple against a sci-fi backdrop.
The couple stayed at the ultra-exclusive Longitude 131°, a luxury glamping site that offered direct views of the sacred rock. Kajal shared a glimpse of this opulence with a photo of herself standing on their private balcony, looking out at Uluru. Wearing a fun, checkered palm-tree print halter set and white trousers, she looked ready for a high-fashion safari. Another shot captured the couple walking the resort grounds, with Gautam looking dapper in sunglasses and cargos.
It wouldn't be a Kitchlu vacation without some swoon-worthy couple goals. The most romantic frame of the lot featured the pair embracing on their deck at sunset, with a small fire pit crackling in front of them. Kajal, wearing a flowing blue printed maxi dress, leaned her head on Gautam's chest as the sky turned a soft orange – a moment she captioned as “intimate and deeply connected to the land”. She even revealed they were lucky enough to spot five shooting stars in one night!
The trip wasn't just about relaxation; it was about perspective. A selfie of Kajal wearing a heavy-duty aviation headset revealed the couple took a helicopter tour to see the ancient monolith from the sky. Back on the ground, they kept it cosy and casual. Several photos showed them exploring the red dust trails in matching blue athleisure wear – walking hand-in-hand and sitting on low walls, soaking in what Kajal called the “dignity and calm” of the desert.
