‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ recently bagged an Oscar and a Japanese duo celebrated the win.

The ‘Naatu Naatu’ fever is high right now and there is no denying that fact! After becoming a massive hit in India and impressing cine lovers worldwide, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ created history by winning an Oscar for its track ‘Naatu Naatu’ in the Best Original Song category. While the entire nation is celebrating the groundbreaking success, ‘Naatu Naatu’ fever has spread everywhere. A video of a Japanese duo dancing to the electrifying song has gone viral, leaving social media users proud and impressed. 

The Japanese duo, consisting of Kaketaku and Mayo, recently dropped an energetic dance video on the peppy track. And we must admit that matching the steps of Ram Charan and Jr NTR is not a cakewalk, but the duo nailed it!

The video, which features content creators Kaketaku and Mayo from Japan, shows them decked up in stylish suits, similar to how Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s characters were dressed in ‘Naatu ‘Naatu’.

The video shows them grooving to the high-energy song as they nail the steps, which went viral when ‘Naatu Naatu’ released.

The video garnered thousands of views and tons of reactions. Desi fans were amazed to see the love ‘Naatu Naatu’ has been receiving from all the corners of the world. 

Many impressed fans took the comment section of the post and praised the electrifying performance.

‘Naatu Naatu’ bagged an Oscar after defeating songs like ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It Like A Woman, ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Lift Me Up’ from ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, and ‘This is Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

‘Naatu Naatu’ not only became the first ever Telugu song to have won an Oscar but also become the first song from the industry to be performed at the Oscars. The live performance by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava received a standing ovation. 

Talking about ‘RRR’, the movie stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Shriya Saran, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, among others. The film tells a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters -- Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, with Ram Charan and Jr NTR playing the lead roles. 

The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films.
