Is Prabhas' 'Salaar' Getting Postponed? Here's The Big Update
In the past few weeks, it has been rumoured that 'Salaar' might be postponed. Fret not, we have a big update!
'Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire', starring Prabhas, is one of the most-awaited Indian movies of 2023. Earlier, it was announced that the new Telugu film directed by Prashanth Neel will be releasing in theatres on December 22, 2023, and hence it will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Dunki' at the box office. In the past few weeks, it has been rumoured that 'Salaar' might get postponed, and one might not get to see the clash between Prabhas and SRK.
Finally, we have some good news for Prabhas fans. No, 'Salaar' is not getting postponed, and it is arriving in theatres as planned. The trailer of 'Salaar' will be releasing on December 1, 2023.

Apart from Prabhas, 'Salaar' also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
Prabhas has a lot riding on 'Salaar' as he desperately needs a box office hit. His last three films -- 'Saaho', 'Radhe Shyam', and 'Adipurush' performed miserably at the box office.
After the 'Baahubali' series, Prabhas has not been able to deliver a smash-hit, and he has not been able to do full justice to his stardom.
Hombale Films, who are the producers of Prabhas’ 'Salaar', had earlier clashed with SRK in 2018. 'KGF: Chapter 1', and 'Zero' had faced off at the box office and it was the former that emerged triumphant.
However, this year, the clash would be different as SRK is coming on the back of two blockbusters -- 'Pathaan', and 'Jawan'. On the other hand, Prabhas' last three films -- 'Saaho', 'Radhe Shyam', and 'Adipurush' performed miserably at the box office.
