The crowd reaction just proves that 'Manam' is still loved by the Telugu speaking audience.
Speaking of 'Manam', apart from Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the film also stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Shriya Saran, Ali, and Brahmanandam.
The movie directed by Vikram Kumar is set in various time periods, over the course of a hundred years up until 2013, and deals with the concepts of rebirth and eternal love.
Coming back to Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, the duo dated for a few years before getting married in 2017. However, the duo announced their separation in October 2021.
Issuing a statement back then, the duo said, "To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us."
In December 2023, Naga Chaitanya had opened up about the scrutiny on his personal life. “I really don’t bother about it beyond a point. People close to me will know the truth. Apart from that, I want to be known for my work as an actor more than what’s happening in my personal life. So I try to focus more on my craft, let the movies do the talking. At the end of the day, if my movies are great and entertain the audience, that’s what I want them to remember me for,” he told Indian Express.
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya recently made his OTT debut with Prime Video series 'Dhootha'. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will next be seen in Raj & DK's series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', alongside Varun Dhawan.
