The trailer of Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Vaccine War' is out now!

The trailer of Vivek Agnihotri's upcoming Hindi film 'The Vaccine War' was unveiled on Tuesday. The movie stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles and the new Hindi movie is being touted as India's "first-ever bio-science film" which is also a true story. In the 'The Vaccine War' trailer, we can see the struggle of Indian scientists during the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

The 'The Vaccine War' trailer opens with Nana Patekar, who is playing the head of scientists. The group then goes on a remarkable journey to create India's first vaccine against the Covid-19 virus. Then we are shown, how the Indian scientists battle budget constraints and negative narratives in the media.

“The Vaccine War talks about the struggle of Indian scientists behind the development of vaccines and also unfolds many stories that went behind the curtains.” It is produced by Pallavi Joshi and I Am Buddha. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 28," the descriptor of the trailer states. 

Anupam Kher is playing the role of Indian Prime Minister in the movie. Raima Sen appears as a journalist, who seems to be tarnishing the image of the vaccine and the Indian government. 

Earlier, the makers had released the teaser of 'The Vaccine War'. Recently, the film had held a special screening in the US and the audience had given a standing ovation.

The video was shared by 'The Vaccine War' director Vivek Agnihotri on X, formerly known as Twitter.

'The Vaccine War' will be releasing on September 28 and it will be clashing against Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha-starrer 'Fukrey 3'.
