Pankaj Tripathi, Akshay Kumar OMG 2 Trailer
The trailer of Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam-starrer 'OMG 2' is out now!

The wait is over! After days of waiting, the makers on Thursday finally unveiled the trailer of 'OMG 2' starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles. For the unversed, the movie is all set to release in the theatres on August 11, the same date as Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2', and it will be a heavyweight clash at the domestic box office.

The trailer tells the story of how Pankaj Tripathi's character decides to sue the school of his son after a video starts getting circulated on the internet and the school then expels him.

The son starts to struggle with the stigma, and Tripathi's character prays to god to solve all his problems and it is then that Akshay Kumar's character emerges from the Ganges.

The trailer's opening underlines that Akshay Kumar is not playing Lord Shiva, but a messenger of God. For the unversed, this was probably one of the directives given from the CBFC to the makers of the film.

Much like the first 'OMG', where Paresh Rawal argued for his case in the court, here too, Tripathi’s character is fighting for himself and his son in the court.

Earlier, a report in The Indian Express stated that 'OMG 2' has gotten an Adults Only or 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The Censor Board also suggested a list of modifications to the makers.

The modifications include the visuals being deleted of frontal nudity and they have asked to be replaced by suitable visuals of Naga Sadhus. The dialogues which mention alcohol as a form of offering to God have also been asked to be modified.

The CBFC have also suggested the makers to remove the poster of a condom ad from the film.

'OMG 2' is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's 2012 film 'OMG - Oh My God'.
