Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Alia wore an elegant muted green linen saree by Anavila Misra, featuring a textured chambray effect and a contrasting bright blue border. The softly flowing fabric was draped in relaxed pleats, with the pallu falling effortlessly over her shoulder. Its earthy, understated finish provided a striking backdrop for the extraordinary blouse underneath.
Custom-designed by Rimple and Harpreet Narula, the halter-style blouse was constructed as a piece of wearable jewellery. Rather than relying on conventional embroidery, the designers assembled antique-finish silver-toned ornaments, including coins, chains, pendants, coloured stones, beads and tiny dangling charms. Bright turquoise accents and occasional red stones broke up the metallic surface, giving the blouse depth and character. The intricate arrangement formed a heavily embellished front, while the open back revealed a narrow ornamented band finished with turquoise bead detailing.
Alia Bhatt allowed the striking blouse to take centre stage, keeping additional accessories thoughtful and restrained. She chose oversized turquoise-studded circular earrings from Sunita Kapoor's collection, echoing the blue-green embellishments on her blouse. Her footwear, credited to Aprajita Toor, comprised Kolhapuri-inspired block-heeled sandals. The contrast between the pared-back linen and elaborate metallic detailing made the outfit captivating.
Her beauty choices followed the same balanced approach. Hairstylist Hrishikesh Naskar left her shoulder-length brown hair loose in soft, slightly tousled waves with a relaxed parting. Makeup artist Mickey Contractor opted for glowing skin, softly flushed cheeks, neatly defined brows, subtle brown eye makeup and natural rosy lips. A tiny turquoise bindi added a delicate traditional finishing touch.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia was last seen in ‘Alpha’. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film served as the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe and co-starred Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
Beyond the action genre, Alia is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic romance drama ‘Love And War’, sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
