'John Wick: Chapter 4', starring Keanu Reeves, has had an outstanding start at the box office, and it has collected more than USD 73 million in its opening weekend. The positive word of mouth has helped the fourth installment of the franchise get the best start for the franchise. For the unversed, the first 'John Wick' had collected just USD 14 million while 'John Wick: Chapter 2' had minted more than USD 30 million in its opening weekend.
'John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum' had made more than USD 55 million, reported Variety.
At the international box office, 'John Wick: Chapter 4' has already made USD 64 million, debuting at number one in each of the 71 markets where it opened.
As per a report in Box Office India, 'John Wick: Chapter 4' made Rs 26.5 crore over the weekend while the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer 'Bheed' bombed with just Rs 1.45 crore.
For the unversed, 'John Wick: Chapter 4' has a run-time of 2 hours and 49 minutes and the movie is a R-rated flick.
As per Variety, the film's opening weekend audience was 69 per cent male while 70 per cent were over the age of 25.

The new Hollywood movie movie stars Keanu Reeves as the title character, alongside a ensemble cast including Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, late Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
'John Wick: Chapter 4' was earlier slated to release in 2021 but it was first delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
