HBO has a knack of coming up with game-changing TV shows! 'True Detective', 'Game Of Thrones', 'Chernobyl', 'Succession' and 'House of the Dragon' are some of the recent examples. And looks like the platform has another iconic show in their locker -- 'The Last Of Us'. The show premiered on Sunday (Monday morning in India) and both fans and critics have been bowled over.
Just one episode has premiered of 'The Last Of Us' and fans are already calling it the best video game adaptation of all time.
The show is based on the highly-acclaimed video game developed by Naughty Dog.
The first episode titled 'When You're Lost in the Darkness' is 1 hour 21 minutes long, and the fans were made to experience variety of emotions throughout the run-time.

As per Variety, “The Last of Us” season 1 premiere, brought HBO it's second-biggest debut of the last 13 years, behind only “House of the Dragon.”
'The Last Of Us' series has been created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO. The series stars Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) in lead roles.
The series tells the story of Joel, a smuggler who is tasked with escorting Ellie across a post-apocalyptic United States.
The second episode titled 'Infected' will be available on Disney+ Hotstar next Monday (January 23).
