On Sunday, the global star shared a new photo dump from her recent stay in New York, featuring sweet family moments, outings with friends, and a surprise appearance by actor Ishaan Khatter that quickly sparked buzz online. Sharing the series of pictures, Priyanka captioned it: “A little New York September with the people i love was magical.” She added the hashtags lately and blessed.

The first picture showed Priyanka receiving a loving kiss from husband Nick Jonas, while another heart-warming snap captured daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas sitting on her lap as she got her nails done in a makeup room. Malti also featured in playful moments from the post, including swimming with her dolls and enjoying carefree playtime.
Priyanka also took Malti out for a stroll through New York streets, accompanied by friends and familiar faces.
In one photo, she was spotted with actor Ishaan Khatter, and in another, she walked alongside close friend Dia Mirza, who smiled warmly for the camera as Malti clutched her doll in the stroller.
It was Priyanka’s photo with Ishaan that drew the most attention. In the image, Priyanka – dressed in a white shirt, beige skirt, and white sneakers – pushed Malti’s stroller while Ishaan walked behind her in a beige T-shirt and black pants, holding a bottle.
Both looked sideways and smiled at the camera. Fans immediately filled the comments with curiosity, asking: “Is that Ishaan Khatter with Priyanka?” and “Why is Shahid Kapoor’s brother with her in New York?” Another remarked, “What is Priyanka doing meeting her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor’s brother?”
Priyanka was once rumoured to be dating Shahid Kapoor after his long relationship with Kareena Kapoor ended. Though neither confirmed the romance, their alleged two-year relationship became a frequent subject of speculation, especially after they co-starred in ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’.
On an earlier episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’, when asked about their shared history, Priyanka diplomatically remarked that the “ex-boyfriend” was never a point of contention with Kareena but their “only point of commonality.” When Karan Johar directly referenced Shahid, Priyanka dodged, saying, “I’m not denying or accepting.”
Priyanka went on to marry Nick Jonas in December 2018 in Rajasthan, celebrating with both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. The couple welcomed daughter Malti via surrogacy in January 2022. Shahid, meanwhile, married Mira Rajput in 2015, and the couple has two children, Misha and Zain.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video action-comedy ‘Heads of State’, alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, released in July 2024.
She is set to return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s ‘SSMB 29’, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, though the official cast announcement is awaited.
