'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3' Has "Moderate" Weekend, Mints Rs 23 Crore
Hollywood box office: Chris Pratt-starrer 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3' has collected Rs 23 crore over the weekend.
Chris Pratt-starrer 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3' had a moderate weekend at the Indian box office as the new Hollywood movie collected just Rs 23 crore. As per a report in Box Office India, the new Hollywood movie collected Rs 6.75 crore on Friday, while the collection on Saturday and Sunday was Rs 7.75 crore and Rs 8.5 crore respectively. 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3' is facing stiff competition from Sudipto Sen's 'The Kerala Story'. The latter is dominating the box office, and the new Hindi movie has already collected more than Rs 35.25 crore.
At the international box office, the Chris Pratt-starrer has minted USD 282 million. In the US, the new Hollywood movie collected USD 114 million.
'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' is directed by James Gunn and he has also written the new Hollywood movie. The flick stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff in the lead roles.
Vin Diesel features as Groot and Bradley Cooper voices Rocket. Kevin Feige is the producer of the movie, and Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith are serving as executive producers.
'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' is the last installment of the trilogy, which started off in 2014.
In November 2022, a holiday special was released for 'The Guardians of the Galaxy'. The special had premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3' released in the theatres on May 5, 2023.
